HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0315 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 315 WHEREAS, Joseph L. Doran has retired from the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District after six years of faithful service; and WHEREAS, this Board wishes to express its appreciation to Mr. Doran for his valuable and conscientious service to the District since his appointment as an original member of the Board; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: The Board deeply regrets that Mr. Doran is retiring from public service to return to private life. During the years he served on the Board he gave unstintingly of his time to the affairs of the District. As an original two-year member of the Board, through appointment in March, 1954, representing St. Louis County, he served faithfully and well in the formative years of the District. Accepting reappointment in the Spring of 1956 to a full four-year term, he helped materially in developing the policies and establishing the administrative features of the District that now mark it as a well-established governmental agency of the State of Missouri. His judgment and approach to the many problems that have confronted the Board have been of inestimable value to the other members. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this expression of regret over his departure and of our appreciation for his friendship and loyal service be forwarded to Mr. Doran. The foregoing Resolution was adopted on July 28, 1960.
