HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0331 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 331 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 317, the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District declared the necessity of an improvement to be made in the Gravois Creek Trunk Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and by Resolution No. 318 said Board directed the publication of notice of public hearing to be held upon such improvement and said notices were published in the St. Louis Post Dispatch and the St. Louis Globe Democrat, newspapers published in the District, on July 15, 1960, as more fully appears by the affidavits of the respective publishers filed with the District, and the public meeting was held pursuant thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that pursuant to the aforesaid hearing, it is hereby found and declared to be in the public interest that such improvement, consisting of a sanitary trunk sewer system extending from the eastern terminus of an existing trunk sewer of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District near the intersection of Leffingwell Street and the St. Louis San Francisco Railroad right-of-way, then extending eastwardly there from down the Gravois Creek Valley and the River des Peres valley to a point near the intersection of the River des Peres and the Mississippi River, be made. The foregoing Resolution was adopted on July 28, 1960.
