HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0343������*���q E S O L U T I O N NO. 3436r WHEREAS, there exist within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and within the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County, Missouri certain sewers hereinafter described which are in such condition as to be acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance, and which it is desirable for the District to operate and maintain, and, WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance Number 88, adopted the 16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or all sewers, easements and appurtenances by Resolution whenever, in the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the District should assume title to such sewers, and WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the hereinafter described sewers and easements and the Executive Director recommends that the District should assume title to such sewers and easements, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that title to the following described sewers, easements and appurtenances in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County be and are hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for public use, operation and maintenance: 1. That sewer constructed in the City of St. Louis under Permit No. 27,986 and lying in Saloma Avenue between��h�� Riverview Boulevard and Woodstock Avenue. 2. That sewer constructed in the City of St. Louis under Permit No. 41250 and lying in Saloma Avenue and extending northwestwardly from a point near the northeasti�southwest alley in City Block 6120 a distance of approximately 195 feet. 3. Those sewers constructed in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County under City Permit No. 28,917 and lying in Irving Avenue between Stratford Avenue and Woodland Avenue; in the northeasti�southwest alley in City Block 6115; an easement ten (10) feet wide over the private southeasti�northwest alley in City Block 6115 and its extension to Irving Avenue, and the sewer lying therein; in Henner Avenue between Goodfellow Boulevard and Irving Avenue; in the northeasti�southwest alley in City Block 6116; in Amelia Avenue between Goodfellow Boulevard and Irving Avenue; in Windham Avenue between Goodfellow Boulevard and Irving Avenue; in Woodland Avenue between Goodfellow Boulevard and Irving Avenue; and in Saloma Avenue between Irving Avenue and a manhole approximately 320 feet southeastwardly therefrom. The foregoing Resolution was adopted October 7, 1960.
