WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 345 the Board of Trustees of
the District declared that it is necessary in the interest of the
public health and welfare to purchase a sanitary sewer system from
Town Service, Inc. and Village Service, Inc. situated in Benefit
Subdistrict No. 111 (Marlborough), consisting of trunk, subtrunk,
and lateral sanitary sewers and appurtenances of sufficient size
and capacity to provide adequate sanitary sewer service for the
population of said benefit subdistrict; and that the estimated
cost of such purchase in the sum of Two Hundred Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($220,000.00), shall be derived from the sale of general
obligation bonds payable as to both principal and interest by and
from an annual tax on all taxable property in said Benefit
Subdistrict No. 111,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that notice of public
hearing in respect to said improvement, as provided in Section
9.020 of the Plan, be given by publication October 10, 1960, in
the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the St. Louis Globe-Democrat,
newspapers published in the District, and that such notice shall
be in the following form:

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District will hold a public hearing at Edgar Road School,
1131 Edgar Road, Webster Groves, Missouri, on Thursday, October
20, 1960 at 8:00 o'clock p.m., in respect to the purchase of a
privately owned sanitary sewer system situated in Benefit
Subdistrict No. 111 (Marlborough) of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District. Such system consists of trunk, subtrunk and
lateral sanitary sewers and appurtenances of sufficient size and
capacity to provide adequate sanitary sewer service for the
population of said benefit subdistrict. The estimated cost of
purchase of such system is Two Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars
($220,000.00), to be derived from the sale of general obligation
bonds, payable as to both principal and interest by and from an
annual tax on all taxable tangible property within such Benefit
Subdistrict No. 111.
All persons interested in such purchase will be given

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Executive Director
shall designate such officers and employees as he may see fit to
attend such hearing and report thereon to this Board. The foregoing Resolution was adopted October 7, 1960.
