WHEREAS, a public sewer now in operation lies in a
former alley 15 feet wide in City Block 930 of the City of St.
Louis, Missouri, which alley was vacated by Ordinance No. 49370,
which reserved an easement for sewer purposes therein, to The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and
WHEREAS, the owners of the land in which such sewer
lies have requested permission to permit the encroachment of a
building across said easement, and examination and survey of such
sewer and of such building shows that it will not damage the
existing sewer,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive
Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to license
the aforesaid encroachment on said easement, provided that the
right of the District to use the easement is preserved, and under
suitable indemnity provisions.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted October 27, 1960.
