HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0357 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 357 WHEREAS, there exist within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and within the City of St. Louis certain sewers hereinafter described which are in such condition as to be acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance, and which it is desirable for the District to operate and maintain, and WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance Number 88, adopted the 16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or all sewers, easements and appurtenances by Resolution whenever, in the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the District should assume title to such sewers, and WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the hereinafter described sewers and the Executive Director recommends that the District should assume title to such sewers, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that title to the following described sewers and their appurtenances in the City of St. Louis be and are hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for public use, operation and maintenance: 1. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 48748 and lying in Oxford Lane between Switzer Avenue and the Wabash Railroad Right-of-Way. 2. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 48748 and 2 lying in the alley in City Block 6282 between Trafford Lane and Oxford Lane. 3. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 48748 and lying in the alley in City Block 6281 between Trafford Lane and Oxford Lane. 4. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 45998 and lying in the alley in City Block 6280 between Trafford Lane and Oxford Lane and in the east-west alley in City Block 6279 between Oxford Lane and a point approximately 115 feet east of Goodfellow Boulevard. The foregoing Resolution was adopted November 23, 1960.
