WHEREAS, WILLIAM W. MARTIN is the only original member
still serving on the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District, and
WHEREAS, he has given unstintingly of his time and
wisdom to the affairs of the District both as a Trustee, as
Chairman of the Board during the fiscal year 1956-57, and
presently as Vice Chairman, and
WHEREAS, he marked a significant personal anniversary
on January 1, 1961,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
THAT the District and the Trustees congratulate William
W. Martin and his wife on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary
of their marriage January 1, 1901:, and
THAT a copy of this expression be sent to them in
grateful appreciation of their fidelity to the highest principles
of personal conduct and public service.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted January 5, 1961.
