HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0375 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 375 WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 429, adopted July 28, 1960, the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District created Benefit Subdistrict No. 109 (Oakborough) and by Resolution No. 362, adopted December 22, 1960 declared the necessity of extending the public sewer system by purchasing a private sanitary sewer system in the area known as Benefit Subdistrict No. 109 from Town Service, Inc., and provided that the entire cost thereof shall be paid for by special tax bills or other evidence of special benefit assessments upon the land within such Benefit Subdistrict, and WHEREAS, adequate notice of a public hearing in respect to said purchase in said Benefit Subdistrict was given, and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held not less than ten nor more than thirty days after the adoption of Resolution No. 362, to wit: on Thursday, January 19, 1961 at St. Sebastian School, 1826 Chambers Road, St. Louis County, Missouri at which hearing all persons interested in such purchase were given an opportunity to be heard, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that the Board of Trustees hereby finds and determines that it is in the public interest that such purchase be made and further determines to proceed with extension of the public sewer system by such purchase, to be paid for by special tax bills or other evidence of special benefit assessments to be levied ratably by area against 2 all lots or parcels of land in Benefit Subdistrict No. 109 (Oakborough), whether public or private, exclusive of public streets, roads and alleys. The foregoing Resolution was adopted February 9, 1961.
