HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0421 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 421 WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, a municipal corporation and a political subdivision of the State of Missouri, has become subject to extraordinary expense in the protection of the public health by reason of floods in the first twenty days of May, 1961, and WHEREAS, an area including The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has been declared by the President to be a disaster area by reason of such floods, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: THAT the Executive Director be and he is hereby authorized to execute for and in behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, a public entity established under the provisions of Section 30 of Article VI of the Constitution of Missouri, an application, accompanied by a certified copy of this resolution, to the Governor of the State of Missouri for certain Federal financial assistance as set out in Public Law 875, 81st Congress, as amended, of the United States.
