WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 62 the District authorized
only the Secretary-Treasurer to sign all checks drawn on any of
the accounts of the District, and
WHEREAS, Section 7.020 of the Plan provides that the
Board shall provide for the performance of the duties of the
Secretary-Treasurer in the event of his absence or disability, and
no provision has heretofore been made by the Board to provide for
the signing of checks under such circumstances or as convenient to
the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that all checks drawn on
any of the accounts of the District shall, from and after the
adoption of this Resolution, be signed by either the Secretary-
Treasurer or the Assistant Secretary-Treasurer, either manually or
by means of a check signing machine.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted October 19, 1961.
