WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 464 the District authorized
either the Secretary-Treasurer or the Assistant Secretary-
Treasurer to sign all checks drawn on any of the accounts of the
District either manually or by means of a check signing machine;
and
WHEREAS, the District finds that it would be convenient
to authorize another officer to also sign such checks; and
WHEREAS, the District desires that the use of the check
signing machine be limited to signing checks of the value of less
than Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Charles B. Kaiser,
Jr. be and is hereby authorized to sign, manually, checks drawn on
any of the accounts of the District in addition to the existing
authority of the Secretary-Treasurer or the Assistant Secretary-
Treasurer to so sign such checks, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the use of an authorized
facsimile signature by means of the check signing machine be
limited to checks not in excess of One Thousand Nine Hundred
Ninety-nine Dollars and Ninety-nine Cents ($1,999.99), and all
other checks of the District to be valid must be manually signed
as heretofore authorized.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted November 20, 1961.
