WHEREAS, John Hicks has tendered his resignation from
the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and is leaving the City of St. Louis,
to take a new position, and
WHEREAS, this Board, wishes to express its appreciation
to Mr. Hicks for his services to the District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
The Board deeply regrets that Mr. Hicks is leaving the
City and the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and we wish him every success
in his new undertaking.
During the years he has covered the meetings and
activities of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District as a
reporter for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch he has served in a manner
which has been very helpful to the people of St. Louis and, we
believe, to the City's future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this expression
of regret and of our thanks for a job well done be forwarded to
Mr. Hicks.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted November 20, 1961.
