HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0492 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 492 WHEREAS, there exist within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and within the City of St. Louis certain sewers hereinafter described which are in such condition as to be acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance, and which it is desirable for the District to operate and maintain, and WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance No. 88, adopted the 16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or all sewers, easements and appurtenances by resolution whenever, in the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the District should assume title to such sewers, and WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the hereinafter described sewers and the Executive Director recommends that the District should assume title to such sewers, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that title to the following described sewers and their appurtenances in the City of St. Louis be and are hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for public use, operation and maintenance: 1. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 645-11 and lying in the east-west alley in City Block 3816 W. A. 2. That sewer constructed under Permits No. 80190 and 82732 and lying in Shawmut Place between Wells Avenue and Easton Avenue. 2 3. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 65594 and lying in the alley in City Block 3817 E. A. 4. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 76766 and lying in the east-west alley in City Block 3809 W. 5. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 66448 and lying in Montclair Avenue between Etzel Avenue and the east-west alley in City Block 3809 E. 6. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 68169 lying in the east-west and north-south alleys in City Block 3808 W. 7. That sewer constructed under Permits No. 85159, No. 88826 and No. 99251 and lying in Randall Place between Ferry Street and Bissell Street. The foregoing Resolution was adopted on February 19, 1962.
