COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, FEBRUARY 5, 2018
CALL TO ORDER
The City Council “Pre-Meeting” of February 5, 2018, was convened at 5:45 P.M. by
Mayor Carrie Tergin.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Henry, Hussey, Kemna, Mihalevich, Prather,
Schreiber, and Ward
Absent: Wiseman
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Prayer
- Councilman Schreiber will lead the prayer.
Lincoln University Student Representative Update
- Mayor Tergin will introduce the new Lincoln University Student
Representative, Caroline Wanjiru.
Bills Introduced
- Matt Morasch, Director of Public Works, will present Bill 2017-111.
- Sonny Sanders, Director of Planning and Protective Services, will present
Bills 2017-112 and 2017-113.
Resolutions
- Matt Morasch will present RS2017-23, a resolution approving an application
for a Recreational Trail Program Grant.
- Fire Chief, Matt Schofield will present RS2017-24, a resolution authorizing the
City of Jefferson to apply for The Fire Act Grant.
