HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0522 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 522 WHEREAS, there exist within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and within the City of St. Louis certain sewers hereinafter described which are in such condition as to be acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance, and which it is desirable for the District to operate and maintain, and WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance No. 88, adopted the 16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or all sewers, easements and appurtenances by resolution whenever, in the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the District should assume title to such sewers, and WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the hereinafter described sewers and the Executive Director recommends that the District should assume title to such sewers, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that title to the following described sewers and their appurtenances in the City of St. Louis be and are hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for public use, operation and maintenance: 1. Those sewers constructed under Permit Nos. 24394, 93310 and 23311 and lying in the east-west and north-south alleys in City Block 5862 of the City of St Louis. 2. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 16748 and lying in the north side of Arsenal Street and extending eastwardly from Leola Avenue a distance of approximately 300 feet. 3. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 23512 and lying in the north-south alley in City Block 4767 C. 4. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 23511 and lying in Norma Court and extending from Maurice Avenue northwardly a distance of approximately 240 feet. 5. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 23510 and lying in Leola Avenue and extending from Maurice Avenue northwardly a distance of approximately 240 feet. 6. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 97498 and lying in the north-south alley in City Block 4780. The foregoing Resolution was adopted May 7, 1962.
