Hallett has retired from the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District after four years of faithful service; and WHEREAS, this Board wishes to express its appreciation to Mr. Hallett for his valuable and conscientious service to the District since his appointment as a member of the Board. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: The Board deeply regrets that Mr. Hallett is retiring from public service as he has been of inestimable value to the District and its citizens. During the years he served on the Board he gave generously of his time and effort to the affairs of the District. He was appointed to the Board on August 7, 1958, by the Mayor of the City of St. Louis, and he has served faithfully and well during the growth of the District. Mr. Hallett's great knowledge of the financial world and his ready grasp of not only the financial problems but of all questions before the District has guided the District through its most trying period. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this expression of regret over his departure and of our appreciation for his friendship and loyal service be forwarded to Mr. Hallett. The foregoing Resolution was adopted May 28, 1962.
