HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0563 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 563 WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 423, adopted July 7, 1960, the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District created Subdistrict No. 108 (Lindbergh-Union Trunk) and by Resolution No. 554 adopted July 30, 1962, and repealing Resolution No. 380, redeclared the necessity of an improvement to be made in said subdistrict to be paid for by special tax bills or other evidence of special benefit assessments to be levied on the land benefitted, and directed that a second public hearing be held in respect to such improvement, and WHEREAS, adequate notice of a second public hearing respect to said improvement in said subdistrict was given, and WHEREAS, said second public hearing was held not less than ten nor more than thirty days after the adoption of Resolution No. 554, to wit: On Tuesday August 14, 1962, at Mehlville Senior High School, 3200 Lemay Ferry Road, at which hearing all persons interested in such improvement were afforded an additional opportunity to be heard, and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has considered the statements made at said hearing, as well as the results of a preliminary engineering survey and other pertinent facts, and has found that it is a practicable proposal to construct adequate sewers to serve all of the land in said subdistrict, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that the Board of Trustees hereby finds and determines that it is in the public interest that such improvement be made and further determines to proceed with such improvement. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a previous Resolution No. 390 to the same effect be and it is hereby superseded. The foregoing Resolution was adopted August 24, 1962.
