WHEREAS, Mr. Stuart A. MacCready is retiring as a
member of the Civil Service Commission of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District on qualification of his successor, and
WHEREAS, Mr. MacCready has been a member of the
Commission continuously from its establishment July 22, 1954,
having graciously accepted appointment for three successive terms,
and
WHEREAS, during his tenure he has served as Chairman of
the Commission and has exerted his efforts and leadership in the
establishment and operation of the classified personnel service of
the District,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Beard of
Trustees hereby expresses its thanks to Mr. Stuart A. MacCready
for giving so generously of his time and energy and judgment for
more than eight years to the District and its employees and to the
public as a member of the Civil Service Commission; and further
that the Board appreciates the outstanding success of the Civil
Service Commission, to which Mr. MacCready has made a real and
lasting contribution.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution be spread
on the minutes and that a copy of it be presented to Mr. MacCready
as a token of gratitude.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted September 10, 1962.
