WHEREAS, the District is holding in the Improvement
Fund moneys received from the now dissolved Kingston Park Sewer
District which have been appropriated for use for sanitary sewer
improvements within the former boundaries of said dissolved sewer
district, and
WHEREAS, the Executive Director reports that
improvement of the sanitary sewers in said area by the addition of
sufficient manholes would facilitate inspection and reduce the
cost of maintenance of said sewers,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the construction of
manholes in the sanitary sewers within the area of the former
Kingston Park Sewer District is necessary and is in the interest
of the public health; that such improvement shall consist of
sufficient manholes, estimated to be 28, to provide for service
and operation of said sewers situated in the area bounded by
Appian Drive, Tacoma Drive, Telegraph Road and Sigsbee Avenue;
that the estimated cost of such improvement is One Thousand Eight
Hundred Three and 89/100 Dollars ($1,803.89); and that the entire
cost of such improvement shall be paid for from funds received
from the now dissolved Kingston Park Sewer District held in the
Improvement Fund and standing appropriated for this purpose by
provision of Ordinance No. 337.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted September 10, 1962.
