WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 567, the Board of Trustees
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District declared the
necessity of an improvement to be made in the Mississippi River
Subdistrict of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and by
Resolution No. 568 said Board directed the publication of notice
of public hearing to be held upon such improvement and said
notices were published in the St. Louis Post Dispatch and the St.
Louis Globe Democrat, newspapers published in the District, on
September 14, 1962, as more fully appears by the affidavits of the
respective publishers filed with the District, and the public
meeting was held pursuant thereto,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that pursuant to the
aforesaid hearing, it is hereby found and declared to be in the
public interest that such improvement, consisting of a system of
sanitary interceptor sewers and sewage disposal and treatment
plants and works for said subdistrict, be made.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted September 27, 1962.
