HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0577 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 577 WHEREAS, there exist within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and within the City certain sewers hereinafter described which are in such condition as to be acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance, and which it is desirable for the District to operate and maintain, and WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance Number 88, adopted the 16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or all sewers, easements an appurtenances by resolution whenever, in the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the District should assume title to such sewers, and WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the hereinafter described sewers and the Executive Director recommends that the District should assume title to such sewers, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that title to the following described sewers and their appurtenances in the City of St. Louis be and are hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for operation and maintenance: 1. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 102563 and lying in the alley in City Block 4924S between Lawrence Avenue and Thurman Avenue. 2. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 40914 and lying in Russell Boulevard and extending from Lawrence Avenue to Grand Avenue. 2 3. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 46295 and lying in Russell Boulevard and extending from Thurman Avenue to Tower Grove Avenue. The foregoing Resolution was adopted September 27, 1962.
