HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0589 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 589 WHEREAS, there exist within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and within St. Louis County certain sewers hereinafter described which are in such condition as to be acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance, and which it is desirable for the District to operate and maintain, and WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance Number 88, adopted the 16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or all sewers, easements and appurtenances by resolution whenever, in the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the District should assume title to such sewers, and WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the hereinafter described sewers and the Executive Director recommends that the District should assume title to such sewers, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that title to the following described sewers and their appurtenances in St. Louis County be and are hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for public use, operation and maintenance: Those sewers constructed and lying in Girard Drive and in the easements and parks in Kenrick Knolls, Block 1, a subdivision of St. Louis County, Missouri, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 36, Page 34 of the St. Louis County Records and those sewers constructed in the northern side of U. S. Highway 66 between Edgar Road and the western boundary of aforesaid Kenrick Knolls, Block 1 Subdivision, together with an easement for sewer purposes over aforesaid parks. The foregoing Resolution was adopted November 27, 1962.
