HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0615 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 615 WHEREAS, there exist within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and within the City of St. Louis certain sewers hereinafter described which are in such condition as to be acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance, and which it is desirable for the District to operate and maintain, and WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance No. 88, adopted on the 16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or all sewers, easements and appurtenances by resolution whenever, in the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the District should assume title to such sewers, and WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the hereinafter described sewers and the Executive Director recommends that the District should assume title to such sewers, NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that title to the following described sewers and their appurtenances in the City of St. Louis be and are hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for public use, operation and maintenance: 1. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 6809 and lying in Neosho Avenue and extending from Grand Avenue to Dewey Avenue. 2. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 33545 and lying in 37th Street and extending from the intersection of Marceline Terrace and said 37th Street westwardly to the northwest line of said 37th Street, and extending southwestwardly in a 3 foot wide right of way in City Block 4701 adjacent to said 37th Street a distance of approximately 75 feet. 3. Those sewers constructed under Permit Nos. 32380, 11602 and 39762 and lying respectively in the center and northwestern side of Dewey Avenue and extending from Neosho Avenue to Itaska Street. 4. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 9436 and lying in Spring Avenue and extending from Neosho Avenue to Taft Street. 5. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 44005 and lying in the southeast-northwest alley in City Block 5683W and extending from 38th Street southeastwardly approximately 250 feet. 6. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 32569 and lying in Bingham Avenue and extending from Olivia Avenue to Hydraulic Avenue. 7. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 39802 and lying in Hydraulic Avenue and extending from Kingsland Court southwestwardly a distance of 117 feet. The foregoing Resolution was adopted January 7, 1963.
