WHEREAS, the Civil Service Commission and the Personnel
Director are making an investigation in order to advise the Board
of Trustees on personnel administration with special reference to
the Plan requirements for conforming with the prevailing wages and
conditions in the area affected by the Plan, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has appropriated funds
to be used for professional advisory services and District
expenses necessarily incidental thereto,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Civil Service
Commission and the Personnel Director be and they hereby are
authorized to negotiate a contract for such professional advisory
services according to their needs in such investigation within
appropriation limits.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman of the Civil
Service Commission be and he hereby is authorized to execute on
behalf of the District under its seal a contract for such
professional advisory services.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted April 5, 1963.
