WHEREAS, at the request of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, the Honorable Raymond R Tucker, Mayor, City of St.
Louis and the Honorable Lawrence K. Roos, Supervisor, St. Louis
County appointed Judge Robert W. Otto and Mr. Albert A.
Michenfelder as two members of a three-man Investigating Committee
to review the affairs of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, and
WHEREAS, Judge Otto and Mr. Michenfelder named Mr. John
H. Lashly as the third member of the Committee, and
WHEREAS, this Committee appointed Mr. Raymond F.
McNally, Jr. as their Special Counsel, and
WHEREAS, this Committee did undertake the task of
reviewing and investigating the affairs of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District in a very thorough and painstaking manner,
and
WHEREAS, this Committee did devote many, many hours of
their time to this investigation, and
WHEREAS, they have submitted their report to the Mayor
and Supervisor, respectively, and
WHEREAS, this report shows the exhaustive manner in
which this investigation was carried out,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT.
We, the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District, on behalf of all of the citizens of this area,
express our deep appreciation to the members of the Investigating
Committee and their Special Counsel for the thorough and selfless
manner in which they volunteered their efforts in the service of
their community.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that we compliment the
Investigating Committee and their Special Counsel for their most
conscientious inquiry and their excellent report of the affairs of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution
be sent to each member of the Investigating Committee and to their
Special Counsel.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted June 7, 1963.
