HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0655 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 655 WHEREAS, Section 6.010 (7) of the Plan of the District provides that the Executive Director shall "advise, assist, and cooperate in fostering the interest of institutions of learning and civic, professional, and employee organizations in the improvement of personnel standards and conditions in the District.", and WHEREAS, Section 8.010 defines the duties of the Personnel Director and states that he shall "(4) To advise, assist, and cooperate in fostering the interest of institutions of learning and civic, professional, and employee organizations in the improvement of personnel standards and conditions in the District.", and WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District has in the past loaned certain equipment to the Water and Sewage Technical School located at Neosho, Missouri, and WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis sends its water treatment plant operators to this school, and WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District sends its sewage treatment plant operators to this school. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST, LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that it is hereby declared to be the policy of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District that henceforth, to carry out the provisions of Section 6.010, paragraph 7, or Section 8.010, paragraph 4, of the Plan of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, before loaning any equipment or before giving any equipment to any such institution, as provided in the Plan, that the Executive Director first acquire the permission of the Board of Trustees before any such loan or grant of equipment is made. The foregoing Resolution was adopted June 20, 1963.
