HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0657 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 657 WHEREAS, the Plan of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District provides, in Section 7.060, for competitive bidding, and provides, in part, "All bids may be rejected. Except for such right of rejection, the purchase or contract shall be let to the lowest responsible bidder." NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that it is hereby declared to be the policy of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District that in addition to Section 7.060 of the Plan, and all Ordinances enacted pursuant thereto, that the Executive Director is hereby instructed that in all cases where all bids are rejected, or where the lowest bid which meets the specifications is not accepted, that a written report shall be made by the Executive Director to the Board of Trustees setting forth in detail all of the facts relating to said bid rejection. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Executive Director be directed to make his report to the Board prior to notification of the bidders of its rejection. The foregoing Resolution was adopted June 20, 1963.
