HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0675 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 675 WHEREAS, investigation has shown that two public sanitary sewers in the area of Kerruish Place in the City of Webster Groves, St. Louis County, Missouri, and within the boundaries of the former Webster Groves Sanitary Sewer District, are connected with a sewer which does not adequately serve its purpose, and WHEREAS, it is estimated that the probable cost of replacing said connecting sewer will be approximately Seven Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($7,400.00), and WHEREAS, the District holds in the Improvement Fund certain moneys of said former district to be used for sanitary sewer improvements within the area of said former district, which moneys have been appropriated for such use, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the construction of an adequate connecting sanitary sewer in the Kerruish Place area in the City of Webster Groves is necessary in the interest of the public health; that such improvement shall consist of the installation of approximately 390 linear feet of 8-inch vitrified clay pipe at a new grade which will facilitate flowage by gravity; that the estimated probable cost of such improvement is Seven Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($7,400.00); and that the entire cost as finally determined shall be paid from the Improvement Fund and charged to the appropriation therefrom for use in the area of the former Webster Groves Sanitary Sewer District. The foregoing Resolution was adopted October 17, 1963.
