WHEREAS, a public sewer now in operation lies in an
easement 60 feet wide in property in part of Henry W. Kuhs
Subdivision and Lots 1 and 2 of the Resubdivision of Lots 1, 2 and
part of 3 of Thatcher's Subdivision, all lying in City Block 4230
of the City of St. Louis, and
WHEREAS, the owner of the land in which such sewer lies
has requested permission to permit the encroachment of two
buildings across said easement, and examination and survey of such
sewer and of such buildings show that they will not damage the
existing sewer,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive
Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to license
the aforesaid encroachment on said easement, provided that the
right of the District to use the easement is preserved, and under
suitable indemnity provisions.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted April 2, 1964.
