WHEREAS, public sewers now in operation lie in
easements in property now or formerly of the St. Louis-San
Francisco Railway Company in City Block 3942 and Outlot 98 of the
City of St. Louis, Missouri, and
WHEREAS, the owner of the land in which such sewers lie
has requested permission to permit the encroachment of a building
across said easements and sewers and examination and survey of
such sewers and of the plans for such building show that it will
not damage the existing sewers,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive
Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to license
the aforesaid encroachment on said easements, provided that the
right to the District to use the easements is preserved, and under
suitable indemnity provisions.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted April 22, 1965.
