Resolution authorizing filing of application with the
Department of Housing and Urban Development, United States of
America, for a grant under P. L. 89-117.
WHEREAS, pursuant to P. L. 89-117 the United States of
America has authorized the making of grants to public bodies to
aid in financing the construction of basic water and sewer
projects,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
1. That Charles B. Kaiser Jr., General Counsel, be
and he is hereby authorized to execute and file an application on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District with the
Department of Housing and Urban Development, United States
Government for a grant to aid in financing the construction of
4,560 feet of 10" pipe and 57,995 feet of 8" pipe, and 2,260
lineal feet of manhole construction and appurtenances serving
3,065 parcels of ground including 1,125 homes in Kinloch, St.
Louis County Missouri, and an assurance of compliance with the
Department of Housing and Urban Development regulations under
Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
2. That Charles B. Kaiser, Jr., a General Counsel, be
and he is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such
information as the Department of Housing and Urban Development may
reasonably request in connection with the application which is
herein authorized to be filed.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted March 10, 1966.
