WHEREAS, Lewis J. Stiers has served these many years as
member, and chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District and as good and staunch friend of the
Board, the District, and all of its people; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Stiers and his charming and gracious wife,
Elizabeth, will be celebrating on Tuesday, July 12, 1966, the
fiftieth anniversary of their marriage;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this Board, on
behalf of itself, the District and its people, does herewith
extend to Mr. and Mrs. Stiers the heartiest of congratulations and
the fondest of wishes for many more years of happy life together.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted July 7, 1966.
