HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0891 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 891 WHEREAS, there exist within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and within the City of St. Louis certain sewers hereinafter described which are in such condition as to be acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance, and which it is desirable for the District to operate and maintain, and WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance No. 88, adopted the 16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or all sewers, easements and appurtenances by resolution whenever, in the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the District should assume title to such sewers, and WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the hereinafter described sewers and the Executive Director recommends that the District should assume title to such sewers, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that title to the following described sewers and their appurtenances in the City of St. Louis be and are hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for public use, operation and maintenance: 1. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 18611 and lying in the north side of Tholozan Avenue between Oak Hill Avenue and Roger Place. 2. That sewer constructed under Permit Nos. 31676 and 19075 and lying in Oleatha Avenue and extending from Roger Place to Bent Avenue. 3. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 19075 and lying in Potomac Street and extending from Roger Place to Bent Avenue. 4. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 19075 and lying in Fairview Avenue and extending from Roger Place to Bent Avenue. 5. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 19075 and lying in Parker Avenue and extending from Roger Place to Bent Avenue. 6. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 37518 and lying in the east side of Oak Hill Avenue and extending from McDonald Avenue southwardly a distance of 120 feet. 7. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 25901 and lying in Bent Avenue and extending from McDonald Avenue to Parker Avenue. The foregoing Resolution was adopted August 4, 1966.
