WHEREAS, public sewers now in operation lie in
easements in property now or formerly of Bristol-Myers Corporation
in the North one-half of Section 9, Township 45 North, Range 6
East St. Louis County, Missouri, being in the City of Ladue
between the St. Louis Belt and Terminal Railroad right-of-way, the
Innerbelt Expressway right-of-way and Ladue Road, and
WHEREAS, the owner of the land in which such sewers lie
has requested permission to permit the encroachment of a building
across said easements and examination and survey of such sewers
and of such building shows that it will not damage the existing
sewers,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive
Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to license
the aforesaid encroachment on said easements, provided that the
right to the District to use the easements is preserved, and under
suitable indemnity provisions.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted September 23, 1966.
