R0902 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 902 WHEREAS, there exist within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and within the City of St. Louis certain sewers hereinafter described which are in such condition as to be acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance, and which it is desirable for the District to operate and maintain, and WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance No. 88, adopted the 16th day of July 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or all sewers, easements and appurtenances by resolution whenever, in the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the District should assume title to such sewers, and WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the hereinafter described sewers and the Executive Director recommends that the District should assume title to such sewers, in that they form an integral part of the sewer system serving the public, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that title to the following described sewers and their appurtenances in the City of St. Louis be and are hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for public use, operation and maintenance as an integral part of the public sewer system: 1. That sewer lying in Federer Street and extending from Morganford Road to Ray Avenue, and lying in the northeast- southwest alley of City Block 6057, and extending from Federer Street to Schoenlau Street. 2. That sewer lying in Schoenlau Street and extending from Morganford Road to Ray Avenue, and lying in the northeast- southwest alley in City Block 6058, extending from Schoenlau Street to Bowen Street. 3. That sewer lying in Adkins Avenue and extending from Schoenlau Street to Bowen Street. 4. That sewer lying in the northwest-southeast alley in City Block 6025 and extending from Ray Avenue northwestwardly to the northeast-southwest alley in said city block, and lying in the said northeast-southwest alley between Bowen Street and Fillmore Street. 5. That sewer lying in the northwest-southeast alley in City Block 6026 and extending from Ray Ave to the north-south alley in said city block, and lying in said north-south alley and extending from Fillmore Street to Wilmington Avenue. 6. That sewer lying the southeast-northwest alley in City Block 5820 and extending from Ray Avenue to the north-south alley in said city block, and lying in said north-south alley and extending from Wilmington Avenue to said southeast-northwest alley. 7. That sewer lying in Concordia Avenue and extending from Morganford Road to Ray Avenue. 8. Those sewers constructed under Permit No. 36920 and lying in the southeast-northwest alleys in City Blocks 6296 and 6298 and extending from Ray Avenue to Marwinette Avenue, and lying in the northeast-southwest alley in City Block 6296 and 3 extending from Federer Street to the southeast-northwest alley in said city block, and lying in Federer Street and extending from Leona Street to the aforesaid northeast-southwest alley in said city block. 9. Those sewers constructed under Permits Numbered 36920 and 42341 and lying in the northeast-southwest alley in City Block 6298 and extending from Bowen Street to the northeast- southwest alley in such city block and lying in Marwinette Avenue and extending from the 10 foot wide walkway in such city block southwestwardly a distance of 168 feet. 10. That sewer lying in the northwest-southeast alley in City Block 5927 and extending from Marwinette Avenue to Coronado Avenue, and lying in the northeast-southwest alley in said city block beginning at the northwest-southeast alley and extending northeastwardly through an easement to Bowen Street. 11. That sewer lying in the northeast-southwest alley in City Block 5929 and extending from Wilmington Avenue to Bowen Street. 12. That sewer lying in Marwinette Avenue and extending from Wilmington to Bowen, and lying in Bowen Street and extending from Leona Street to the northeast-southwest alley in City Block 5928. 13. That sewer lying in Wilmington Avenue and extending from Leona Street to Coronado Avenue, and lying in Coronado Avenue and extending from Wilmington Avenue to Dover Place, and lying in the northeast-southwest alley in City Block 4 5970 and extending from the northwest-southeast alley to Wilmington Avenue. 14. That sewer lying in Dover Place and extending from Leona Street to Coronado Avenue, and in the northeast-southwest alley in City Block 5974 and extending from the northwest- southeast alley to Dover Place. 5 The foregoing Resolution was adopted November 10, 1966.
