WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 1304, adopted April 8, 1965,
the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
created the Watkins Creek Trunk Subdistrict and by Resolution No.
904, adopted December 8, 1966, declared the necessity of an
improvement to be made in said subdistrict, the subdistrict's cost
for which improvement is to be paid for with the proceeds of the
sale of general obligation bonds of the Watkins Creek Trunk
Subdistrict provided such bonds are authorized by vote of the
registered voters of such subdistrict, in accordance with the Plan
of the District, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 905, adopted
December 8, 1966, adequate notice of a public hearing in respect
to said improvement in said subdistrict was given, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held not less than ten
nor more than thirty days after the adoption of Resolution No.
905, to wit: On Wednesday, January 4, 1967, at the Kirby Junior
High School, 1865 Dunn Road, Hazelwood, Missouri at which hearing
all persons interested in such improvement were given an
opportunity to be heard,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that the Board of
Trustees hereby finds and determines that it is in the public
interest that such improvement be made and further determines to
proceed with such improvement.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted March 3, 1967.
