WHEREAS, a public sewer now in operation lies in an
easement in former Race Course Avenue, 60 feet wide, in the City
of St. Louis, Missouri, between Newstead Avenue and Hunt Avenue,
and
WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis, has vacated such
portion of Race Course Avenue, reserving an easement thereover for
sewer purposes to this District, and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive
Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to license
the aforesaid encroachment on said easement, provided that the
right to the District to use the easement is preserved, and under
suitable indemnity provisions.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted May 19, 1967.
