HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0953 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 953 WHEREAS, a public sewer now in operation lies in an easement in former Douglass Street, 50 feet wide, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, between First Street and Gingrass Creek, and WHEREAS, the City of St. Louis, has vacated such portion of Douglass Street, reserving an easement thereover for sewer purposes to this District, and WHEREAS, the owner of the land in which such sewer lies has requested permission to permit the encroachment of a building across said easement and examination and survey of such sewer and of such building show that it will not damage the existing sewer, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to license the aforesaid encroachment on said easement, provided that the right to the District to use the easement is preserved, and under suitable indemnity provisions. The foregoing Resolution was adopted July 26, 1967.
