HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0957 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 957 WHEREAS BY RESOLUTION NO. 956 the Board of Trustees of the District have declared that it is necessary in the interest of public health to make improvements in Subdistrict No. 257 (Rayburn Avenue Subtrunk) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District consisting of a sanitary trunk sewer system extending from the intersection of Newland Avenue with Spellman Avenue, then extending westwardly and southwestwardly therefrom up a branch of the Gravois Creek valley to a point near Lindbergh Boulevard. Such sanitary trunk sewer system to be of sufficient size and capacity to provide adequate sanitary sewer service for the estimated ultimate population of Subdistrict No. 257 (Rayburn Avenue Subtrunk) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and the estimated cost to such subdistrict of such improvement is Eighty-Two Thousand Dollars ($82,000.00), to be derived from the sale of general obligation bonds, payable principal and interest by and from an annual tax on all taxable tangible property within said subdistrict, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that notice of public hearing, as provided in Section 9.020 of the Plan be given by publication in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the St. Louis Globe-Democrat, newspapers published in the District, September 20, 1967 such notice to be in the following form: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District will hold a public hearing at the J. Milton Turner School, 245 Saratoga, St. Louis County, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 4, 1967 at 8:00 o'clock P.M., in respect to an improvement in Subdistrict No. 257 (Rayburn Avenue Subtrunk) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, such improvement to consist of a sanitary trunk sewer system extending from the intersection of Newland Avenue with Spellman Avenue, then extending westwardly and southwestwardly therefrom up a branch of the Gravois Creek valley to a point near Lindbergh Boulevard. Such sanitary trunk sewer system to be of sufficient size and capacity to provide adequate sanitary sewer service for the estimated ultimate population of Subdistrict No. 257 (Rayburn Avenue Subtrunk) of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District; and the estimated cost to such Subdistrict of such improvement is Eighty-Two Thousand Dollars ($82,000.00), to be derived from the sale of general obligation bonds, payable principal and interest by and from an annual tax on all taxable tangible property within said subdistrict. All persons interested in such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard.
