HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0962 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 962 WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 1316, adopted April 22, 1965, the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District created Subdistrict No. 257 (Rayburn Avenue Subtrunk) and by Resolution No. 956, adopted September 7, 1967, declared the necessity of an improvement to be made in said subdistrict, the subdistrict's cost for which improvement is to be paid for with the proceeds of the sale of general obligation bonds of Subdistrict No. 257 (Rayburn Avenue Subtrunk) provided such bonds are authorized by vote of the registered voters of such subdistrict, in accordance with the Plan of the District, and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 957, adopted September 7, 1967, adequate notice of a public hearing in respect to said improvement in said subdistrict was given, and WHEREAS, a public hearing was held not less than ten nor more than thirty days after the adoption of Resolution No. 957, to wit: On Wednesday, October 4, 1967, at the J. Milton Turner School, 245 Saratoga Street, St. Louis County, Missouri at which hearing all persons interested in such improvement were given an opportunity to be heard, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT, that the Board of Trustees hereby finds and determines that it is in the public interest that such improvement be made and further determines to proceed with such improvement. The foregoing Resolution was adopted October 11, 1967.
