WHEREAS, a public sewer, known as the Mill Creek Sewer,
now in operation, lies in an easement in City Block 2268 of the
City of St. Louis, (formerly City Block 2269) which city block is
bounded by Hickory Street, Missouri Avenue, Chouteau Avenue and
Armstrong Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the owner of the land in which such sewer lies
has requested permission to permit the encroachment of a building
across said easement and examination and survey of such sewer and
of such building shows that it will not damage the existing sewer,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive
Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to license
the aforesaid encroachment on said easement, provided that the
right to the District to use the easement is preserved, and with
suitable indemnity provisions.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted November 7, 1967.
