RESOLUTION authorizing filing of application with the
Federal Water Pollution Control Administration, Department of the
Interior, United States of America, for a grant under the Water
Pollution Control Act, (33 U.S.C. 466 et seq.),
WHEREAS, under the terms of the Water Pollution Control
Act, (33 U.S.C. 466 et seq.), the United States of America has
authorized the making of grants to authorized applicants to aid in
the construction of a specific public project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
1. That Peter F. Mattei, be and he is hereby
authorized to execute and file an application on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District with the Federal Water
Pollution Control Administration, United States Government, for a
grant to aid in the construction of the Arsenal-Broadway Sanitary
Interceptor Sewer to provide service to the rapidly developing
Arsenal Street Watershed.
2. That Peter F. Mattei, Executive Director, be and
he is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such information
as the Federal Water Pollution Control Administration may
reasonably request in connection with the application which is
herein authorized to be filed, and sign all necessary documents.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted July 26, 1968.
