WHEREAS, there exist within The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District and within the City of St. Louis certain sewers
hereinafter described which are in such condition as to be
acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance,
and which it is desirable for the District to operate and
maintain, and
WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance No. 88, adopted the
16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or
all sewers, easements and appurtenances by resolution whenever, in
the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be
found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the
District should assume title to such sewers, and
WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that
no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the
hereinafter described sewers and the Executive Director recommends
that the District should assume title to such sewers, in that they
form an integral part of the sewer system serving the public,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that title to the
following described sewers and their appurtenances in the City of
St. Louis be and are hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District for public use, operation and maintenance as an
integral part of the public sewer system:
1. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 25695 and
lying in the east-west alley in City Block 2058 and extending from
California Avenue eastwardly to the north-south alley in said city
block.
2. That sewer lying in Michigan Avenue and extending
from Magnolia Avenue southwardly 160 feet.
3. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 92986 and
lying in the north-south alley in City Block 1430, and extending
southwardly from Sidney Street approximately 450 feet.
4. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 93955 and
lying in the north-south alley in City Block 2079, and extending
from Sidney Street southwardly approximately 520 feet, and lying
in the south side of Sidney Street and extending from Nebraska
Avenue westwardly to the north-south alley in said City Block
2079.
5. Those sewers constructed under Permit Nos. 44153
and 98887 and lying in the north-south alley in City Block 2078,
and extending from Sidney Street to the east-west alley in said
block, and lying in the south side of Sidney Street and extending
eastwardly from said north-south alley to Nebraska Avenue.
6. Those sewers constructed under Permit Nos. 44153
and 46006 and lying in the north-south alley in City Block 2077,
and extending from Sidney Street to the east-west alley in said
city block; and lying in the south side of Sidney Street and
extending westwardly from said north-south alley to Nebraska
Avenue.
7. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 44153 and
lying in the north-south alley in City Block 2076 and extending
from Sidney Street to the east-west alley in said city block; and
lying in the south side of Sidney Street and extending from said

north-south alley eastward to California Avenue.
8. Those sewers constructed under Permit Nos. 43806
and 68184 and lying in the north-south alley in City Block 2075
and extending from Sidney Street south to the east-west alley in
said city block.
