HomeMy Public PortalAboutR1086 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 1086 WHEREAS Frank L. Ramacciotti has faithfully served from October 15, 1957, until October 10, 1969, as a City of St. Louis member of the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, which to date is the longest tenure of any member ever having served on the Board; and WHEREAS, Mr. Ramacciotti during this period twice served as Chairman of the Board, from July, 1959 to July, 1960, and from July, 1967 to July, 1968, and as Vice-Chairman from July, 1961 to October, 1964, and again from March, 1966 to July, 1967; and WHEREAS, this Board wishes to express its sincere appreciation to Mr. Ramacciotti as he concludes these twelve years of outstanding service to the District and to the citizens it serves; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: The Board herewith cites and thanks Mr. Ramacciotti for the generous giving of his time and energies to the tasks of the District during his long and devoted service, for the great strength of character, intelligent leadership and judgment which proved of such inestimable value in helping the District successfully conclude some of its most difficult problems and projects; Beyond his exceptional capabilities, Mr. Ramacciotti was a good and valued friend of the District, its people, and the public it serves. Though he now departs this Board and this District his contributions will forever be a part of the District's finest achievements, and his capabilities and friendship will be greatly missed. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this expression by the Board be forwarded to Mr. Ramacciotti. The foregoing Resolution was adopted October 30, 1969. -2-
