HomeMy Public PortalAboutR1114 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 1114 WHEREAS, a public sewer now in operation lies in an easement in former McCausland Avenue, 30 feet wide, between the east-west alley in City Block 4808-W and the Missouri Pacific Railroad Right-of-Way, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, which street was vacated by the City of St. Louis by Ordinance No. 55310 reserving an easement for sewer purposes over such former street, and, WHEREAS, The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District is successor in title of said easement, and WHEREAS, the owner and the lessee of the land in which such sewer lies have requested permission to permit the encroachment of a building and appurtenances across said easement and examination and survey of such sewer and of such structure shows that it will not damage the existing sewer, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to license the aforesaid encroachment on said easement, provided that the right of the District to use the easement is preserved and the District is indemnified against liability, loss, or damage from such encroachment. The foregoing Resolution was adopted March 19, 1970.
