RESOLUTION authorizing filing of application with the
Department of Housing and Urban Development, United States of
America, for a grant under P. L. 89-117.
WHEREAS, pursuant to P. L. 89-117 the United States of
America has authorized the making of grants to public bodies to
aid in financing the construction of basic water and sewer
projects:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
1. That Peter F. Mattei, Executive Director, be and he
is hereby authorized to execute and file an application on behalf
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District with the Department
of Housing and Urban Development, United States Government, for a
grant to aid in financing the construction of approximately 1,000
lineal feet of 12 foot bottom width paved channel and
appurtenances serving homes in the Fountain Creek Area of St.
Louis County, Missouri, and an assurance of compliance with the
Department of Housing and Urban Development regulations under
Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
2. That Peter F. Mattei, Executive Director, be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such information as
the Department of Housing and Urban Development may reasonably
request in connection with the application which is herein
authorized to be filed.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted March 19, 1970.
CERTIFICATE OF RECORDING OFFICER
The undersigned duly qualified and acting Secretary-
Treasurer of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District does hereby
certify: that the attached resolution is a true and correct copy
of the resolution, authorizing the filing of application with the
Department of Housing and Urban Development, as regularly adopted
at a legally convened meeting of the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District duly held on the 19th day of
March, 1970; and further that such resolution has been fully
recorded in the journal of proceedings and records in my office.
