WHEREAS, there exist within The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District and within the City of St. Louis certain sewers
hereinafter described which are in such condition as to be
acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance,
and which it is desirable for the District to operate and
maintain, and
WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance No. 88, adopted the
16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or
all sewers, easements and appurtenances by Resolution whenever, in
the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be
found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the
District should assume title to such sewers, and
WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that
no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the
hereinafter described sewers and the Executive Director recommends
that the District should assume title to such sewers, in that they
form an integral part of the sewer system serving the public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that title to the
following described sewers and their appurtenances in the City of
St. Louis be and are hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District for public use, operation and maintenance as an
integral part of the public sewer system:
1. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 91382 and
lying in Mott Street and extending from Pennsylvania Avenue
westwardly to Minnesota Avenue.

2. That sewer constructed under Permit Number 99819
and lying in the east-west alley in City Block 2954 and extending
from Vermont Avenue to Alabama Avenue.
3. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 103339 and
lying in Iron Street and extending from Broadway northwestwardly a
distance of approximately 200 feet.
4. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 55309 and
lying in the north-south alley in City Block 2917 and extending
from Grundy Street to Fillmore Street.
5. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 71135 and
lying in the north-south alley in City Block 2942, and extending
from Iron Street to Bowen Street.
6. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 98981 and
lying in the east-west alley in City Block 2885, and extending
from Minnesota Avenue to the north-south alley in said Block.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted May 21, 1970.
