RESOLUTION authorizing filing of application with the
Federal Water Quality Administration, Department of the Interior,
United States of America, for a Grant under the Water Pollution
Control Act (33 U.S.C. 466 et seq.)
WHEREAS, under the terms of the Water Pollution Control
Act (33 U.S.C. 466 et seq.), the United States of America has
authorized the making of grants to authorized applicants to aid in
the construction of a specific public project,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
1. That Peter F. Mattei, Executive Director, be and he
is hereby authorized to execute and file an application on behalf
of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District with the Federal
Water Quality Administration, United States Government, for a
grant to aid in the construction of an interceptor sewer in a
project known as New Halls Ferry and I-270 Sanitary Interceptor to
intercept existing sanitary sewers and carry the flow to an
adequate point of discharge.
2. That Peter F. Mattei, Executive Director, be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such information as
the Federal Water Quality Administration may reasonably request in
connection with the application which is herein authorized to be
filed, and sign all necessary documents.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted September 23, 1970.
CERTIFICATE OF RECORDING OFFICER
The undersigned duly qualified Secretary-Treasurer of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District does hereby certify:
That the attached resolution is a true and correct copy
of the resolution authorizing the filing of application with the
Federal Water Quality Administration, as regularly adopted at a
legally convened meeting of the Board of Trustees of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District duly held on the 24rd day of
September, 1970; and further that such resolution has been fully
recorded in the journal of proceedings and records in my office.
