WHEREAS, the Maintenance Department of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District has discontinued use of District real
property situated at 9928 Gravois Road, St. Louis County, the
property is vacant, and the Executive Director foresees no further
need nor use of the property, and
WHEREAS, bids for purchase of the subject property were
invited in accordance with Resolution No. 732, but no responsive
bid was received, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the District finds
that the subject property is no longer necessary or useful in the
District's operations, and that it should be sold with minimum
further delay,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive
Director be and he is hereby authorized to execute in behalf of
the District a contract, substantially in the form of the current
Uniform Listing Contract of the Real Estate Board of Metropolitan
St. Louis, whereby the District appoints Bruce J. Branch, doing
business as Branch Realty Company, as its exclusive agent for sale
of the subject property and said agent agrees to endeavor to
procure a purchaser therefor, subject to the following special
terms, to wit:
1. All interest of the District in the subject
property will be sold and conveyed, subject to authorization by
District ordinance, for the price of Fifty Thousand Dollars cash
in lawful money of the United States, or for or upon any price or

other terms fixed by District ordinance.
2. Such listing contract shall continue for thirty
days from the date thereof and thereafter until terminated for the
District by the Executive Director upon and after thirty days
prior written notice, but in no event shall it continue for more
than one year from the date of such listing contract.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted October 27, 1970.
