WHEREAS, there exist within The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District and within the Cities of St. Louis, Bellefontaine
Neighbors, and Jennings certain sewers hereinafter described which
are in such condition as to be acceptable to the District for
public operation and maintenances, and which it is desirable for
the District to operate and maintain, and
WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance No. 88, adopted the
16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or
all sewers, easements, and appurtenances by Resolution whenever,
in the opinion of counsel, and upon recommendation of the
Executive Director that the District should assume title to such
sewers, and
WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion and
the Executive Director recommends that the District should assume
title to such sewers, in that they form an integral part of the
sewer system serving the public,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that title to the
following described sewers and their appurtenances in the Cities
of St. Louis, Bellefontaine Neighbors, and Jennings be and are
hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for
public use, operation and maintenance as an integral part of the
public sewer system:
